Terms of Booking

By placing a booking with us, you (the lead guest) and your booking party (guests) agree to the following terms and conditions as set-out. If you have any queries in regards to the booking, please contact us prior to making any payments.

To place a booking with Four Degrees West the lead guest must be at least 21 years of age. Names of all guests must to be entered into on the booking form. The maximum number of staying guests is four. Where the person making the booking is different to the lead guest taking up the occupation, the person making the booking may be held responsible for cancellation, non-arrival and damages as set-out within. Only the lead guest and the named booking party are allowed to use the property and its facilities, any third party visitors are only allowed access at the express permission of the owner.

Once we have received your booking enquiry, subject to availability, we will issue you with a booking confirmation by email and a request for either a deposit payment or full payment in relation to your stay.

We reserve the right to ask a guest to leave the property with immediate effect if they are not honouring this agreement and causing a disturbance, or nuisance to the neighbours or the owners.

Payment and Security Deposit

In order to confirm your stay, a deposit of 25% of the full payment (or full payment if booking is within eight weeks of the first day of your intended stay) must be paid upon receipt of the booking confirmation email.

The balance of the cost of your stay must be received by us not less than eight weeks prior to the first day of your intended stay (or at the time of booking if this date has passed). This date will be shown in your booking confirmation. If you have not paid in full and on time we reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled by you and the deposit will be non-refundable.

You must pay the security/damage deposit of £200 eight weeks before the first day of your intended stay (or at the time of booking if this date has passed) The cost of any damage to the property or to any items in and/or at the property caused or any service charges incurred by you or any member of your party will be deducted by us at the end of your stay.

If no deductions are required your security deposit will be refunded in full within seven days after your departure from the property. If the security deposit is not sufficient to cover any damage caused or charges incurred by you or your party, you will be responsible for paying us any additional monies required immediately upon request.

We can accept payments by BACS or FASTER (internet) payment in GBP, no fees apply

Cancellation, Returned Deposit & Non-Arrival Conditions
Should you need to cancel your booking once it has been confirmed, the party leader must immediately contact us by using the email address provided. 

Our cancellation charges are as follows:

The number of days before the start date of your intended stay that we receive notice to cancel:

More than 90 days notice – 25%
60 – 90 days – 50% of the total cost
30 – 60 days – 75% of the total cost
02- 30 days – 90% of the total cost
02 days – the arrival date – Total cost

Whilst we always endeavour to avoid changes and cancellations, we must reserve the right to do so. In the rare event we need to cancel your booking, please be aware that we cannot be held liable for circumstances beyond our control and that our liability to you is limited only to the refund of any payment already made or to offer an alternative agreed date and all payments received will be transferred to the alternative stay.

Check-in & Check-out
Guests check-in and check-out times are stated below;

Check-in by: no before 4pm on day of arrival.

Check-out by: 10am on day of departure.

On departure all beds must be stripped and used bed linen and towels must be placed in the laundry bags provided and left in the bathroom.

WiFi Fair & Appropriate Usage Policy
Where WiFi Internet access is provided, guests accept to use this access fairly and appropriately. We may monitor network performance and user usage in order to maintain a fair and high level of service to all our guests.

The Internet access provided is intended for general use such as access to the world wide web, email, messaging, social media, light video / music / media streaming. It is not intended or ideally suited for heavy media streaming, online gaming, extensive downloads / uploads. Access to illegal activity or use of our network for illegal activity is not prohibited and will be reported to local authorities.

Smoking
Smoking of any tobacco products including, but not limited to, cigarettes, pipes, cigars, is only allowed outside of the building and in accordance with the Health Act 2006.

Dogs
We offer pet free accommodation and therefore do not accepts dogs.

Parking
Where on-site parking is provided guests accept that they park their vehicles at their own risk.

Accessibility Statement
Unfortunately, Four Degrees West is not a fully accessible property. Please contact us with your specific accessibility needs if you are unsure as we do have a step up into the kitchen area, a step out onto the terrace area and no sleeping accommodation on the ground floor.

Your Personal Details & Privacy
Our policy surrounding the personal details you provide as part of any booking or enquiry through this website / or third party website, including the privacy of those details are explained and set out in our Privacy Policy which you can read here.

You accept that any entries you make to an on-site guest book, will not contain personal information or details you would not want disclosed. Any entries containing personal details that may fall into the DPA and GDPR may be removed and destroyed.

Our Right To Cancellation
We reserve the right to cancel any booking without compensation, refund or reimbursement if the terms of these conditions are breached.
